Red Fort blast probe reaches Prayagraj: Security agencies examine records of Dr. Shaheen Saeed at Medical College

Prayagraj, Nov 13 (UNI) The investigation into the Red Fort bomb blast has taken a new turn, with security agencies reaching Motilal Nehru Government Medical College in Prayagraj to examine the academic records and documents of Dr. Shaheen Saeed, one of the key accused in the case.
According to sources on Thursday, a team of security personnel arrived at the medical college late on Wednesday evening and reviewed several documents related to Dr. Saeed’s time as a student there. Dr. Shaheen Saeed, who was arrested in connection with the blast, is reported to have longstanding ties with the institution.
She had enrolled in the MBBS course at Motilal Nehru Government Medical College in 1996 and completed it in 2002 while residing in the girls’ hostel. Later, she pursued an MD in Pharmacology from the same college and, in 2006–07, joined Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial (GSV) Medical College in Kanpur as an assistant professor through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.
