Red Fort blast: CM announces Rs 10 lakh to next of kin of dead

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of those killed in the Red Fort car bomb blast, while those who developed a disability will receive Rs 5 lakh. The seriously injured victims will be given Rs 2 lakh each, and those with minor injuries will be given Rs 20,000.
At least 13 people were killed, and over 24 injured in the car bomb blast that took place near the Red Fort Metro station on Monday evening.
Expressing deep condolences to the next of kin of those killed in the explosion, the CM described the incident as extremely tragic, and heart rending.

With Goyal's induction, the Central Information Commission is expected to regain full operational strength after a prolonged gap. His appointment was approved by a high-level committee, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi as members.
