Real Madrid president Perez calls new elections

Madrid, May 13 (UNI) Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has announced new elections for the club presidency, less than a year and a half after he was re-elected in January 2025.

The 79-year-old announced his decision at an urgent press conference called with less than three hours' notice at Real Madrid's Valdebebas training ground, following a meeting of the club's board of directors on Tuesday.
