RD: Mobile internet suspended in Kashmir for security reasons

Srinagar, Jan 26 (UNI) Mobile internet services of all cellular companies were suspended in Kashmir valley for security reasons on Tuesday, when Republic Day is being celebrated across the country.

However, broadband and fix-line internet was working normally in the valley, where high speed internet services remained suspended since August 5, 2019, when the Centre abrogated Article 370 and Article 35 A.

Bijapur, May 17 (UNI) Following conclusion of the Karregutta operation aimed at eliminating Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, the police in Telangana's Mulugu district have carried out a major crackdown on Naxal activities and have arrested 20 Naxals from various police station areas, including Wazed, Venkatapuram, and Kannigudem.
Those arrested include one Divisional Committee Member (DCM), five Area Committee Members (ACM), and 14 party members.
