RCBW dominate DCW, strengthen top position in WPL

Vadodra, Feb 17 (UNI) Royal Challengers Bangalore Women (RCBW) delivered a commanding performance to decimate Delhi Capitals Women (DCW) and consolidate their position at the top of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) table on Monday.
After a disciplined bowling and fielding effort restricted DCW to 141 in 19.3 overs, RCBW openers laid a solid foundation for a comprehensive chase. Skipper Smriti Mandhana (81) set the tone early, attacking the bowlers from the outset, striking boundaries in the first over and maintaining her aggressive approach throughout.
Danielle Wyatt complemented her well with a composed 42, and their century partnership effectively sealed the contest within the first 10 overs. Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh ensured there were no late hiccups, guiding RCBW to victory with ease.
