RCB choose to field first against KKR

Raipur, May 13 (UNI) Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and elected to field against Kolkata Knight Riders in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash after rain and a wet outfield delayed the start at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium here today evening.
The 57th match of the tournament will begin at 8.45 pm IST as a full 20-overs-a-side contest, with the toss taking place at 8.30 pm following multiple inspections and extensive work by the ground staff to clear moisture from the outfield after earlier showers.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar said the side opted to bowl first expecting conditions similar to the previous match at the venue.

Guiyang, June 18 (UNI) India’s Minakshi Hooda advanced to the quarter-finals of the World Boxing Cup 2026 here in the People's Republic of China on Thursday.
Competing in the women's 51kg boxing category, Minakshi registered a 5-0 victory over Poland's Natalia Kuczewska in her round of 16 bout.
Minakshi, who is the reigning world champion and No. 1 ranked boxer in the 48kg division, has moved up to the 51kg weight class - an Olympic category - this season.
