Rajnath pays tribute to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today paid tributes to the great freedom fighter and social reformer, Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Remembering his immense contribution to the nation, Singh, in a post on X said, "On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, 'Loknayak' Jayaprakash Narayan, we pay him our heartfelt tributes. Through his sacrifice, struggle and principles, Jayaprakash Ji showed the nation the true spirit of democracy."
Highlighting the pivotal role Jayaprakash Narayan played during the Emergency, the Defence Minister added, "His call for a ‘Sampoorna Kranti’ became a powerful symbol of people’s resistance against injustice and oppression."
