Rajasthan: Overdue interest relief scheme for land development banks loan holders

Baran, May 13 (UNI) The Rajasthan government has implemented the Chief Minister's Overdue Interest Relief Scheme 2025-26 for overdue loan holders of Land Development Banks, providing 100 per cent relief in overdue interest.
Baran Cooperative Land Development Bank Ltd Secretary Jitesh Kumar Jain stated that all loan accounts that were overdue as of July 1, 2024, will be eligible for relief under this scheme. Eligible loan holders will receive 100 per cent relief on overdue interest, penalty interest, recovery expenses, and other expenses.
However, loan holders who availed of the 5 percent interest subsidy scheme from July 1, 2014, and have overdue loans will not be eligible for this scheme. Jain added that the last date to benefit from this scheme is June 30, 2025, he added.
