Rajasthan: Jaipur Metro Phase-2 project worth Rs 13,038 Cr gets Centre's approval

Jaipur, Apr 8 (UNI) The works on the 41-km North-South Corridor Jaipur Metro phase- II between Todi Mod–Ambabari–Airport-Sitapura and Prahladpura- is set to begin soon with the union Cabinet according approval to Rs 13,038 crore project today.
The major project has been entrusted for implementation to the Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation (RMRCL) that is a 50:50 joint venture entity of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, an official spokesman informed here.
This is targeted to be completed in 5 years.

Sanitation workers stage protest in Varanasi, demand pay hike
