Rajasthan delegation studies Odisha’s urban development, water management models

Bhubaneswar, June 11 (UNI): A nine-member delegation from the Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage and Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (RUIDP), Jaipur, visited Bhubaneswar and Puri to study Odisha’s urban development initiatives and best practices in water supply, sanitation, and urban governance under an Asian Development Bank (ADB)-supported exposure programme.
During the visit, the delegation conducted extensive field inspections of major urban infrastructure projects in the two cities and interacted with officials of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) to gain first-hand knowledge of Odisha’s urban governance framework, sanitation systems, service delivery mechanisms, and citizen-centric initiatives.
A key feature of the programme was an interactive session at the Odisha Urban Academy with Odisha Housing and Urban Development Department Additional Chief Secretary Usha Padhee.

No prescribed uniform for Bihar teachers, but dignified attire mandatory: Deputy CM

Patna, July 21 ( UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Tuesday clarified in the state Assembly that there is no prescribed uniform or specific dress code for teachers in government schools. However, teachers are supposed to attend educational institutions wearing dignified and appropriate attire befitting the teaching profession.
