Rajasthan Budget 2026-27 dedicated to ‘Service, Security and Good Governance: DY CM

Jaipur, Feb 11 (UNI) Reaffirming commitment to achieving the goal of Viksit Rajasthan 2047, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, dedicated the state budget 2026-27 to "service, security and good governance" to all, particularly weaker sections.
Presenting her third successive budget in the state assembly on Wednesday, Diya Kumari said that immediately after assuming power in the state in December 2023, the government had set its eyes on the prime goal of making Rajasthan developed and self-reliant by 2047. ''We have formulated and adopted a vision document comprising 10 points (pillars),'' she said.
Rounding off on the state government's achievements, she said, "We have been working on this Viksit Rajasthan 2047 vision document and achieved good results. We have succeeded in elevating the lives of kisans by taking many initiatives, increasing their income and facilities. We have even adopted a green budget, dedicating it for cause of environmental and ecological enrichment last year.''
