Railways converts three Hyderabad special trains into regular services

Hyderabad, Mar 13 (UNI) In a boost for railway passengers in the Telugu states, Indian Railways has converted three special trains operating from Hyderabad into regular services in view of growing passenger demand.
The trains include Kachiguda–Tuticorin Express (17165/17166), Hyderabad–Kanyakumari Express (17069/17070) and Charlapalli–Shalimar Amrit Bharat Express (17065/17066), which were earlier running as special trains on an ad-hoc basis.
In a statement on Friday, union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy welcomed the decision and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for strengthening railway connectivity from Hyderabad.
