Rahul Gandhi likely to visit UP from Jan 19, to appear before court in defamation case

Lucknow, Jan 17 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be on a 2- day visit to Uttar Pradesh from January 19 and is likely to appear in a court in a defamation case.
Rahul Gandhi, who is an MP from Rae Bareli, is likely to appear in the court in Sultanpur on January 19 in a defamation case related to union Home minister Amit Shah.
On January 6, the special court had instructed Rahul Gandhi to appear in person and despose before the court on the day.
