Raghu Khanna returns in Disney+ Hotstar's 'Showtime'

New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) Disney+ Hotstar and Dharmatic Entertainment are set to launch 'Showtime,' a new series exploring Bollywood's producer wars, self-realisations, and powerful women.

Starring Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, and Rajeev Khandelwal, all episodes will stream on 12th July 2024.

Created by Sumit Roy and directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, 'Showtime' delves into the vulnerabilities of Raghu Khanna, played by Emraan Hashmi, as he seeks redemption and mends broken relationships.

Karan Johar, Founder and Managing Director of Dharmatic Entertainment, expressed his excitement, stating, "Showtime holds a special place in my heart. The story showcases characters' real lives, their vulnerabilities, and internal struggles in the world of showbiz."

Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharmatic Entertainment, highlighted the series' unique take on Bollywood, emphasising the collaboration with Disney+ Hotstar. "Showtime is a one of a kind series and delves into the world of Bollywood and brings to the forefront the world of Bollywood, the producers at war and struggles to get to the top," said Mehta.

Somen Mishra, Head of Content (Fiction) at Dharmatic, noted the drama, entertainment, and suspenseful twists that 'Showtime' promises to deliver. "We are excited for audiences to witness Raghu Khanna like never before in the new episodes of Showtime," said Mishra.
