Putin to hold talks with Palestinian president Abbas - Kremlin

Moscow, Aug 12 (UNI) Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Russia on August 13 and exchange views on the situation in the Middle East amid the escalating Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Kremlin said on Monday.
"On August 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who will be in Russia on an official visit," the Kremlin said.
Putin and Abbas will exchange their views on the situation in the Middle East in the light of the escalating Palestinian-Israeli conflict and unprecedented humanitarian disaster in the region, the statement read.
