Punjab : VB arrests ASI for accepting Rs 2,000 bribe

Chandigarh, Jun 12 (UNI) The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), has arrested Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Baldev Singh, posted at police station Sultanpur Lodhi, district Kapurthala for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,000.
An official spokesperson of the state VB said the arrest has been made following a complaint lodged
by a resident of Kapurthala on the Chief Minister’s Anti Corruption Action Line.
