Punjab: Safai contractor fatally stabbed in Hoshiarpur’s subzi mandi

Hoshiarpur, Apr 21 (UNI) A 24-year-old man working as a Safai Contractor in the Rehari market of Subzi Mandi was allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow vendor over a petty monetary dispute, police said on Monday.
According to ASI Sukhdev Singh, in-charge of the Purhiran Police Post, the deceased, Sanjeet Kumar, also operated a 'rehari' (handcart) in the market and had taken up the contract for its cleaning. He, along with a few others, used to clean the area at night and charge Rs 10 from each vendor for the service.
The altercation occurred on Sunday night when one of the vendors, a resident of Purhiran, and a friend

First fertilizer freight train arrives at J&K’s Anantnag

They said a freight train consisting of 21 BCN wagons successfully arrived at the Anantnag Goods Terminal from Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh.
