Punjab: Minister directs MCJ to strengthen basic amenities in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, Feb 17 (UNI) Punjab Local Bodies Minister Ravjot Singh on Monday emphasized further improvement in basic amenities like cleanliness, beautification, construction of roads, lighting, water supply, and sewage systems in the city.
He directed Jalandhar civic officials to coordinate with councillors and complete the key ward works within three months.
Presiding over a review meeting in the Jalandhar civic headquarter with Municipal Commissioner Gautam Jain, Mayor Vineet Dheer, officials, and councillors, the Minister urged for equal distribution of sanitation workers across the city's wards to implement an effective sanitation system.
