Punjab: Man sentenced to death for raping, killing 4-year-old

Ludhiana, Mar 27 (UNI) A special court on Thursday awarded the death penalty to a man from Uttar Pradesh for raping and killing a four-year-old girl in 2023.
The special court dealing with Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act sentenced the accused Sonu of Fatehpur (UP) to death.
According to the prosecution, the accused after killing the victim hid her body under the bed.
