Pune police raid 13 spa centres, warn owners against illegal activities

Pune, July 10 (UNI) The Pune Police have intensified their crackdown on unauthorised spas across the city and raided 13 spa centres located in areas such as Viman Nagar, Kalyani Nagar, Kharadi, and Baner.
Police have issued strict warnings to spa owners, cautioning them against engaging in any activities beyond permitted spa services. “If anything ‘extra’ is found beyond spa operations, be ready to face legal consequences," the police warned.
As part of their action, 18 women were rescued including 10 foreign nationals, from Baner and airport areas.
