Pune: Labourer couple dies in road accident

Kolhapur, Dec 13 (UNI) In an unfortunate incident, a sugarcane-cutting labourer couple died on the spot, at Raigaon Phata in Satara district on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway on Tuesday.
According to Bhuij police in Satara district, while a sugarcane loaded tractor was on way to Bhuij, at Raigaon phata, a speedy truck vigorously hit behind of the tractor. In this incident, a couple , who sat on sugarcane load failed down and came under the front wheel of the truck and man was killed on the spot while his wife was seriously injured, who admitted at district civil hospital along with truck clenar, who also injured in this incident but injured woman (decades wife) was dead during the medical treatment.
Police yet to identify the decade couple.
