Pune among top 5 cities for digital payment transactions in H2 2024: Worldline India

Pune, Apr 24 (UNI) Pune ranked amongst top five cities in the country in digital payment transactions in second half of calendar year 2024 (July–December 2024), revealed the findings released by Worldline, a global leader in payment services, on Thursday.

According to the analysis, Pune ranked amongst the top five cities in terms of both digital payment volume and value.
The city accounted for 11 percent of total transaction volume, up from eight percent in H2 2023, and 10 percent of total transaction value, marking a significant year-on-year increase from six percent.
Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad are the other cities that are in top 5 list with the highest digital transactions, said a release here.

Adani Power secures 1,500 MW UP order

Ahmedabad, May 10 (UNI) Adani Power Ltd, the country’s largest private thermal power generator, on Saturday said it has secured a contract to supply 1,500 MW of power to Uttar Pradesh from a new ultra-supercritical thermal power plant to be set up in that state.
