PUCL, 19 other civil society groups to challenge Rajasthan's Anti-Conversion Law in Supreme Court

Jaipur, Oct 11 (UNI) As many as 20 civil society organizations have decided to challenge the Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion Act, 2025, passed by the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly last month, in the Supreme Court.
“We will also launch massive demonstrations on this issue in association with all secular groups, religious bodies, and like-minded political parties after Diwali,” the leaders declared.
Addressing a joint press conference here in afternoon, the heads of these outfits termed the Act unconstitutional and noted that similar anti-conversion laws have been enacted in 12 states across the country, including Rajasthan.
