Protesting daily wage teachers withdraw agitation in Nashik

Nashik, Dec 8 (UNI) The daily wage teachers' agitation that has been going on in front of the Tribal Development Department for the past five months finally ended on Sunday (Dec 7). In a video conferencing discussion held with Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Uike on Saturday, Dr. Uike assured the employees that Class 4 and Class 3 daily wage teachers would be recruited through external sources.
The agitation was called off on Sunday in the presence of Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik, and they breathed a sigh of relief.
Daily wage teachers of the Tribal Ashram School had been staging a protest in front of the Tribal Development Department office in Nashik since July 9 to demand the government order for the employees. The talks between the government and the protesters were unsuccessful. Even after that, the protesters continued their agitation.
