Protecting environment also true service to the nation: Solanki

New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) Palam 360 Khap chief Surender Solanki on Friday planted a sapling in the loving memory of his father, also the former Khap Pradhan Ramkaran Solanki on the occasion of World Environment Day, stating that doing something for the future generations by contributing towards conserving the environment is also true service to the nation.
Solanki, who promotes tree plantation, especially across rural belt says that presently when the pollution is a major concern of the national capital, increasing the green cover will prove to be a robust measure against the rising problem.
According to the rural belt leader, maintaining the ecological balance is crucial to the present day scenario, when technology is advancing at lightening speed, and cities are expanding rapidly.
