Private tutor sentenced to 7 years jail for raping his girl student

Munger, June 5 (UNI) The court of the Additional District and Sessions Judge(First) Gunjan Pandey on Monday sentenced a private teacher Mohammed Jilani to seven years imprisonment for raping a school going girl student 13 years ago .
The court also slapped a fine of Rs. Ten thousand on him under section 376 of Indian Penal Code, informed the Additional Public Prosecutor Gautam Kumar Thakur here on Monday.
The accused, after the judgement ,was sent to the Munger divisional jail under judicial custody.
