Private jobs reservation bill is in preparation stage: CM Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, July 17 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah confirmed on Wednesday that the proposed private jobs reservation bill aimed at securing opportunities for Kannadigas in the private sector is still undergoing preparation.
"The bill, which seeks to implement reservations for Kannadigas in private sector institutions, industries, and enterprises, is currently in the preparation stage," Siddaramaiah stated. "A final decision will be made following comprehensive discussions in the upcoming cabinet meeting."
Siddaramaiah’s remarks suggest that further deliberations are necessary before definitive action can be taken, underscoring the significance of the next cabinet session for stakeholders awaiting clarity on the bill's trajectory.
