Prime Minister Modi should first cancel his foreign tours: Hindu Mahasabha

Kolhapur, May 12 (UNI) Following the austerity plea by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) in a sarcastic reaction, said that Mr Modi should first cancel his foreign tours, his ministers should reduce the number of vehicles in their convoy and then give advice to the people.
In a press statement, which was also handed to the district collector Vijay Rathod, ABHM district president Abhijeet Patil said that PM Modi's statement to buy less gold, reduce the use of edible oil and private cars, and prioritize working from home, has created confusion across the country.
After the assembly election results, the PM has made such a statement, which has confused the citizens across the country.

Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) The Congress here today officially announced that it has expelled two of its Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad) candidates who withdrew their candidatures leading to a situation where ruling Mahayuti candidates managed to win unopposed.
Congress candidates Sahebrao Kamble, who was supposed to contest from the Yavatmal constituency, and Shailesh Agarwal, who was fielded from the Chandrapur constituency, withdrew their candidatures without notifying the Maharashtra Congress leadership, which led to their expulsion from the party.
