Pragati Srivastava to star opposite Vedang Raina in untitled film

Mumbai, June 9 (UNI) Actress Pragati Srivastava has been cast in a significant role in Vedang Raina's upcoming untitled film.
The film, directed by Jagdeep Sidhu and bankrolled by Maddock Films, is said to blend comedy, suspense and romance.
According to sources, the film is a comedy-thriller with many layers of romance. Srivastava's character will play a crucial role in taking the story forward. It is being said that the film will showcase two love stories in the life of Raina's character. Naomika Saran is making her big screen debut with the film.
While initial buzz largely revolved around the fresh pairing of Raina and Saran, insiders now suggest that Srivastava's presence adds another compelling dimension to the movie, offering audiences two promising new on-screen pairings.
Srivastava has previously worked in South Indian films and will soon be seen playing the lead role in Prakash Jha's "Janadesh" and Anand L Rai-backed "Nakhrewaalii".
Most of the film's shooting has been completed, with only a few days of work remaining.
The film is expected to be released by the end of 2026. Following his roles in "The Archies" and "Jigra", Raina's popularity has steadily increased, leading to audiences' excitement for his new film. UNI NST SSP
