Popular actor Trisha slams TN BJP Chief for ‘distasteful’ remark linking her with Vijay

Chennai, Feb 16 (UNI) Days after Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagendran, who is also the Legislature Party Leader, was roasted
by political parties for denigrating women with his comments prying into the private space of leaders, popular actor Trisha finally broke her silence condemning the ‘distasteful and inappropriate’ remarks, linking her with actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder-President Vijay.
A statement prepared by her counsel and posted on her ‘X’ handle, said the actor “never expected such distasteful and inappropriate remarks would be made by a person holding a high stature in the State’s political space.”
