Political tempers flare in Bihar as Tejashwi Yadav accuses Bihar Dy CM of voter registration fraud

Patna, Aug 10 (UNI) Political temperatures in Bihar soared today as Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav accused Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha of having registered his name as voter in two Assembly constituencies – one in Lakhisarai in Munger district under EPIC Number IAF3939337 and another in Bankipur in Patna district under EPIC Number AFS0853341.
He said: “It raises questions about the credibility of the Election Commission’s month-long Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll in Bihar, especially because a Deputy Chief Minister’s name is listed in two constituencies. The Election Commission must clarify whether this fraud was committed by Sinha or is a result of irregularities in the SIR process.”
The RJD leader pointed out that Sinha has also manipulated his age. Tejashwi said: “In the voter list of Lakhisarai Assembly constituency Sinha’s age is mentioned as 57 years, while in the voter list of Bankipur Assembly constituency his age is listed as 60 years.”
