Police action to detain Sonam Wangchuk is conspiracy hatched by central govt: Congress leader Satej Patil

Kolhapur, Jul 18 (UNI) Congress group leader in the state legislature council Satej Patil has said that though police detained activist Sonam Wangchuk citing his deteriorating health condition, this action was a conspiracy hatched by the central government to suppress the protest.
Addressing a press conference organised before leaving for Pandharpur in Solapur district along with Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader Raju Shetty, Patil said the central government took this action by obtaining a court order even before the big protest at Jantar Mantar on July 20.
"An attempt is being made to divert the real issue of the protest by citing health reasons," he said.
