PM speaks with Qatari Amir, expresses concern at attacks in Doha

New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation with the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and expressed deep concern at the attacks in Doha while condemning the violation of Qatar’s sovereignty.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction at the sustained progress in the India-Qatar Strategic Partnership and reiterated their commitment to advance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister reiterated support for resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy and stressed the need to avoid escalation.
