PM's visit marks launch of major development projects: Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 23 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kerala on Friday marked a significant milestone for the State, with the launch, inauguration, and foundation stone laying of several major development projects spanning science and innovation, rail connectivity, urban infrastructure, and livelihood support, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the Prime Minister’s presence in Thiruvananthapuram underscored the union Government’s approval of projects that would have a lasting impact on Kerala’s development.
He noted that the State Government had been consistently seeking the Centre’s clearance for many of these initiatives and described their sanction as a moment of satisfaction for Kerala.
