PM Modi meets US Envoy Sergio Gor, vows stronger India-US ties

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today welcomed US Ambassador-designate Sergio Gor to India, expressing confidence that his tenure would further strengthen the India–US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
“Glad to receive Mr. Sergio Gor, Ambassador-designate of the US to India. I’m confident that his tenure will further strengthen the India–US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership,” PM Modi stated.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in defence and security to promote regional stability, deepen trade and economic ties, and resolve outstanding trade issues. They also emphasised collaboration in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and renewable energy.
