PM Modi is a fantastic man, we're going to have a good deal: Trump

Davos, Jan 21 (UNI) US President Donald Trump on Wednesday lauded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as a "fantastic man" while indicating that a bilateral trade pact was firmly on the agenda.
Speaking to Moneycontrol on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum here, Trump exuded confidence about the progress of India–US trade relations, and replied on a positive note when asked about the status of trade negotiations between New Delhi and Washington.
The President described Modi as a "friend".
"I have great respect for your Prime Minister. He’s a fantastic man and a friend of mine. We are going to have a good deal,” Trump said. UNI SSP
