PM Modi flags off six Vande Bharat trains

Patna, Sep 15 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off six Vande Bharat trains through video conferencing including two on Bhagalpur-Howrah and Gaya-Howrah.
The trains flagged off by Modi through video conferencing from Ranchi are Gaya- Howrah, Bhagalpur-Dumka-Howarah, Tata Nagar- Patna, Brahmpur- Tata Nagar, Deoghar- Varanasi and Rourkela-Howrah.
A function was organised at Ranchi Railway station on the occasion.
In Bihar, functions were organised at Gaya and Bhagalpur stations for the launching of Gaya- Howrah and Bhagalpur- Howrah Vande Bharat trains respectively.
Minister of State for Railways Navneet Singh Bittu, while addressing the function at Bhagalpur station, said a total of 108 Vande Bharat trains had been launched on various routes across the country so far .
While recognising the importance of the Ang region in Bihar,Modi gifted the Vande Bharat train on the Bhagalpur-Howarah route, he added.
"With the launching of Vande Bharat train for Howrah from Bhagalpur, business activities would increase in Bhagalpur and its silk industries would also get a big boost" Bittu noted. Within the next six months, Amrit Bharat trains would also be introduced in Bihar for various routes including from Bhagalpur itself, he added.
Similarly, a function was organised at Gaya station for launching the Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat train. Union Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi while speaking on the occasion, said that modernisation of trains and other systems of Railways had taken place under the Narendra Modi government.
He said under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all-round development was taking place in the country. UNI KKS SSP
