PM Modi conferred 'Great Honor Nishan of Ethiopia' by PM Abiy Ahmed

Addis Ababa/New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi was today conferred with Ethiopia’s highest honour, ‘Great Honor Nishan of Ethiopia’, for his exceptional contribution towards strengthening India-Ethiopia partnership and for his visionary leadership as a global statesman.
The honour was conferred by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in a special ceremony held at the Addis International Convention Centre in Addis Ababa.
PM Modi, who is paying his first bilateral visit to Ethiopia from Dec 16-17, noted that it was an honor for him to accept the award from one of the most ancient civilizations of the world, and he did so with a deep sense of humility and gratitude.
