PM Modi calls appointment letters a ‘sankalp patra’ guiding youth towards nation-building

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday described appointment letters distributed to over 61,000 individuals as a “sankalp patra,” or pledge, saying it will guide them towards nation-building and their responsibilities under the Constitution.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi said, "This time is also bringing you closer to your responsibilities towards the Constitution. On 24 January, our Constitution accepted Jana Gana Mana as the National Anthem and Vande Mataram as the National song... This appointment letter is, in a way, an invitation letter for nation-building. This is a 'sankalp patra' for giving direction towards a Viksit Bharat."
The Prime Minister distributed more than 61,000 appointment letters to the newly appointed youth in various government departments and organisations at the 18th Rozgar Mela today via video conferencing.
