Playing the role of a RAW agent was the best experience of my career: Karan Tacker

Mumbai, June 18 (UNI) Bollywood actor Karan Tacker has opened up about the unparalleled thrill of playing an undercover RAW agent in Neeraj Pandey's "Special Ops", calling it as "the best experience" of his career.
Tacker, who made his grand OTT debut with the 2020 espionage thriller "Special Ops", portrayed the role of undercover intelligence officer Farooq Ali. His performance was hailed for its precision.
Now, with the upcoming sequel "Special Ops 2", Tacker returns to the screen as Farooq Ali, this time embodying not only the strategic brilliance of a spy but also the emotional gravitas of a man caught between duty an personal truth.
The recently unveiled trailer teases a deeper, more introspective version of Farooq Ali and this time he is not just a RAW agent, but is coming forward as an emotional warrior. For Karan Tacker, this is not just another show, it is a matter of the heart.
Talking about his work experience with the acclaimed filmmaker, Karan shared how "working with Neeraj Sir has been more than just a professional journey — it’s been personally enriching as well".
“Getting a script from Neeraj Sir is one of the biggest things. Outside of television, this was exactly the kind of opportunity I had been looking for as an actor, and I couldn’t have asked for a more fitting collaboration than with Neeraj Sir,” said Karan Tacker.
Tacker added, "It was not easy to get into the mindset of a RAW agent, but it was the most fun too! In this season, I lost myself while getting into the role. This shoot has been the best experience of my career."
Following the success of "Special OPs", Tacker is set to headline another gripping series titled "Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery". The narrative is based on the life of Indian paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari, who devoted himself to exploring the uncharted realms of supernatural phenomena. His body was found on July 7, 2016 at his house in Dwarka, Delhi. Karan Tacker will be essaying the role of Gaurav Tiwari in this story of supernatural powers.
