Platense, San Martin secure wins in Argentine top flight

Buenos Aires, Apr 21 (UNI) A second-half goal from Guido Mainero gave Platense a 1-0 away victory over Sarmiento in Argentina's Primera Division.
Mainero broke the deadlock in the 54th minute on Sunday by drilling a left-footed shot into the bottom-left corner after Ronaldo Martinez's assist.
The result leaves Platense sixth in the 15-team Group B standings with 20 points from 14 outings. Sarmiento is 11th, seven points further back.
