PIB conducts voters’ awareness programme at Kakinada

Kakinada, Apr 20 (UNI) Additional director-general for PIB and CBC (central bureau of communications, Ministry of information and broadcasting) of Andhra Pradesh, Rajinder Chaudhry said on Saturday that voting was crucial for democracy and national development and advised the young adults to vote responsibly and elect candidates of integrity.
Addressing the voters' awareness programme at the Ideal College of Arts and Sciences here, he advised educated individuals to value their vote and participate in the ongoing elections – the world’s biggest democratic exercise.
SWEEP Nodal officer for Kakinada district, Vijay Bhaskar has highlighted the citizens role in selecting leaders through voting.
