Permission for film shooting in ASI protected monuments in 15-20 days: Patel

New Delhi, Jul 9 (UNI) There will be no more delays in getting permission to shoot films in monuments protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and it will take just 15 to 20 days to get permission for such shoots if application is made online, Union Minister of Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Prahlad Singh Patel said on Thursday.
Addressing the virtual conference of 'FICCI Frames 2020' organized by FICCI, the Minister of Tourism said that the ministry will help to facilitate permission for shooting at ASI protected monuments.
He said that earlier there were several delays in getting permission to shoot at monuments but now this permission can be obtained in just 15 to 20 days.
