People across Delhi pay tribute to former Delhi CM Sahib Singh Verma on his 83rd birth anniversary

New Delhi, March 15 (UNI) Hundreds of people from villages and neighbourhoods across the national capital gathered on Sunday at Swabhiman Sthal in Ghevra Mor to pay tributes to former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma on his 83rd birth anniversary.
The gathering turned into an emotional remembrance of the late leader, who was widely remembered for his close connection with ordinary citizens and his focus on the development of Delhi, particularly its rural areas.
Residents, supporters, social workers and community representatives assembled early in the day to participate in a prayer meeting and havan, recalling Verma’s simple lifestyle, accessibility and dedication to public service.
