Pentagon commits $1.5 billion to AI-driven 'Genesis Mission' to boost US military research

Washington, July 22 (UNI) The Trump administration on Wednesday announced a sweeping artificial intelligence initiative aimed at accelerating scientific discovery for military applications, with the Department of War committing more than
1.5 billion over the next two fiscal years to strengthen U.S. technological and defence capabilities.
The investment forms part of the White House-led "Genesis Mission," a national programme designed to harness AI for scientific research by integrating vast government datasets, high-performance computing and advanced AI tools.
