Recently, Charan, accompanied by the film's director, Buchi Babu Sana, was greeted by a rousing welcome from the audience at a cinema. As the film's final credits rolled, the entire theatre stood up and gave the actor a standing ovation amid thunderous applause. This recognition is being seen as a testament to his impressive performance in the film.
The 41-year-old effectively conveys the film's sporting and social message. From thrilling sports sequences to emotional moments, his performance has been well-received by audiences. Notably, he has successfully portrayed an emotional and sports-focused character, moving beyond his traditional high-octane action image.
"Peddi's" impact is evident at the box office as well. The film has grossed an impressive Rs 292.5 crore worldwide so far. At the Indian box office, it has maintained a strong hold, grossing Rs 187.02 crore.
