Partnership with DP World will increase opportunities for our players: Kapil Dev
Former India cricket captain and President of PGTI

New Delhi, Jan 31(UNI) Former cricket captain Kapil Dev, now President, Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), has said the association's newly sealed partnership with DP World will increase opportunities for Indian golfers, especially giving them more chances to play in tournaments abroad.
Speaking to media in the national capital on Saturday, Kapil Dev said 'by way of this partnership with DP World, our players will be participating in many of the DP World-sponsored tournaments abroad. So whether there are tournaments in Europe or anywhere, our boys will get to play in those. That is why we were very keen (on DP World becoming the PGTI sponsor). This is the biggest thing for a young golfer to go and play in Dubai, Europe and elsewhere."
PGTI had on Friday announced a landmark multi-year partnership with DP World, under which the global logistics leader becomes the Title Partner and Official Umbrella Partner of India's premier professional golf tour.
