Parameshwara assures full independence to SIT in Dharmasthala mass burial case

Bengaluru, Dec 6 (UNI) Home Minister G. Parameshwara on Saturday said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala mass burial case has been granted full independence, clarifying that there has been no interference from the government.
He explained that only preliminary reports have been submitted to the court so far, and the case remains under active investigation.
Speaking at a press conference at the office of the Director General of Police in Bengaluru, Parameshwara emphasised that neither he nor the Chief Minister has interfered in the probe. “We have allowed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) full independence. There has been no interference from our side. The investigation must proceed in the proper manner,” he said.
