Pallavi Joshi to make Cannes debut with 'Tanvi: The Great'

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) Acclaimed Bollywood actress and producer Pallavi Joshi is poised to make her debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival with the film "Tanvi: The Great'".

Following her award-winning work in socially relevant films like "The Tashkent Files" and "The Kashmir Files", and the honour of bagging three National Awards, Joshi's appearance at Cannes underscores her growing influence in global cinema, thereby marking a golden period in her career.

Pallavi Joshi shared, “I feel incredibly fortunate to present Tanvi The Great at the Cannes Film Festival, alongside our brilliant team and, of course, Anupam Kher. As an artist, this experience is something I’ll always hold close to my heart. It’s been an emotional roller coaster working on this film, and I’m truly excited for audiences around the world to see it. I sincerely hope Tanvi The Great resonates with people and reaches as far and wide as possible.”

Beyond her film work, Joshi has long been a mainstay of Indian television and cultural programming, having hosted shows like 'Zee Antakshari' and 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi Little Champs' to becoming one of the highest paid TV actresses in the 90s. Admitting his tensions regarding the July 5 concert scheduled in Birmingham, the ‘Godfather of Heavy Metal’ told Music Week in an interview said "This would be a big, monumental thing if it all comes good."

"The worrying thing for me is the unknown. We don't know what's going to happen,” he added.
