Palghar: Tribal infant dies probably after polio vaccination

Palghar, Jul 8 (UNI) A seven-month-old tribal infant apparently died hours after being administered polio vaccination in Koch village of Mokhada taluka of this district, police said on Wednesday.
The deceased was vaccinated late Tuesday evening after which he was playing normally. However, he passed away during his sleep at night.
Expressing concern over the tragic incident, government tribal welfare committee Chairman Vivek Pandit wondered, "How the healthy child died after vaccination?"
